Meet on location:
We’ll all meet at Flatey Dairy Farm, 24 mi (38 km) west of Höfn and 26 mi (42 km) east of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. From there we’ll drive you to the snowmobile start location.
Drop off location:
We’ll bring you back to Flatey Dairy Farm at the end of our tour.

Warm outdoor clothes, warm hat and gloves, snacks, sturdy hiking boots, driver’s license (not required for passengers)

Glide through the incredible winter wonderland of Vatnajokull Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe! On this thrilling snowmobile ride, you’ll explore Iceland’s spectacular ice landscapes. Zoom across powder white snow as you take in the glacier’s peaks and valleys, including the highest mountain in Iceland.
Your adventure begins at nearby Flatey Dairy Farm. We’ll all meet at the farm and travel together to the tour starting point.
Before you board your snowmobile, our expert guides will tell you everything you need to know for a safe and thrilling snowmobile adventure. We’ll provide you with all the needed safety equipment, including insulated snowsuits and helmets. Don’t worry if you’ve never gone snowmobiling before. With the help of our guides, you’ll be a master snowmobiler in no time!
Then it’s time to take to the slopes. The breathtaking expanse of Vatnajokull Glacier is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Europe’s biggest glacier covers 3,127 mi² — that’s 9% of Iceland’s total surface area. Pristine ice and snow stretch as far as the eye can see.
On your snowmobile, you’ll glide through a fantasy ice world. Take in the vast valleys and peaks that pierce the horizon. You’ll also zoom past Mt. Hvannadalshnjúkur, Iceland’s highest peak. All around Vatnajokull, 30 outlet glaciers unfurl into the surrounding lagoons and sea.
